FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will you provide the design or shop drawings of the cabinets?
Our designers work with clients on individual designs and layout that will work best in their space. Part of the design process is to provide design plans and drawings for sign off once the final layout is mutually agreed on. There is a design fee or signed contract required at this stage.
Do you have a showroom?
Yes, we have a large showroom on the east side of Green Bay. We also have the Wilco Design Center in Sturgeon Bay featuring displays and vignettes that are different designs and layout shown in the Green Bay showroom. Both showrooms are available to all clients.
Can cabinet companies match my existing cabinets and furniture?
Wilco Cabinet Makers does their best to match a clients existing cabinets or furniture. Although an exact match due to different types of cutters for our machinery and due to finishes and natural aging is virtually impossible, we work to find a way to blend the old with the new for a cohesive and complimentary design.
Do you offer financing?
Is the installation included in the price? Will knobs and pulls be installed as well?
Installation of Wilco cabinetry is included in the pricing. We have our own Installers in house. Hardware (knobs and pulls) are drilled and installed on our cabinetry as a standard if the hardware is selected from our Selection Center and supplied by Wilco. If the owner supplies their own hardware we can drill and install that hardware for an additional cost.
How do I clean my kitchen cabinets?
To clean kitchen cabinets, it’s best to use a gentle solution of warm water and mild dish soap, applied with a soft cloth or sponge. For tougher stains, a mixture of water and vinegar or baking soda can be effective. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or rough materials that could damage the cabinet finish.
Can you refinish your kitchen cabinetry?
Yes, kitchen cabinetry can often be refinished to give it a fresh look without the need for a full replacement. Refinishing typically involves sanding down the existing finish, applying a new stain or paint, and adding a protective topcoat. This process can be done by a professional or as a DIY project, depending on the complexity of the refinishing desired. Wilco does not do that type of work as all of our finishing is done in our paintshop in spray booths with spray equipment that is not mobile or able to be brought to a home or job site.
